ARTBYZOE DAILY BLOG THURS 25TH JUNE 09

The next time I'm having a "not so good" day -- I
must remind myself to re read this blog.

I'm truely blessed to be living where I am. And
I never, ever want to take it for granted. Only
3 mins drive away from this -
What A Wonderful World - Sun, Sea, Peace,
Tranquility, 2 dogs & a notebook -- bliss.

The lyics of the ever so famous song keep running
through my mind, as I sit here on the foreshore,
near the jetty at Rosebud beach. I love the
beach in winter, especially on a sunny day. Not
many people around -- just a few mother's with
their small children -- workers taking a "quick
lunch break" and me & my two lovely dogs, and of
course my "permanent appendage - The Notebook".

My little corner of the world is truely
wonderful. "I see skies of blue, and clouds of
white" "I see friends shaking hands, saying "how
do you do" -- they're really saying I Love You".

I wish I had thought to put my camera in my bag
to show you this awsesome, peaceful setting -- but
alas I forgot.

So I will try to describe it in words:

The sun's rays are ever so warm & soothing to my
aching bones. The sea is gently lapping on the
shore and the seagulls are making that awful
sound they do, but nevertheless it is a sound
millions of people associate with the beach.
There's a small child playing catch with his
mother -- oh what a cute site -- woops he just fell
over -- aaah there's nothing like a mother's arms
to sooth a crying child..

The ocean is a vivid aqua blue colour today --
very little waves. And the sky is a light blue
with wisps of white clouds.

There's the distant sound of a small aeroplane --
probably filled with sight-seerers taking
advantage of this glorious day.

Well I suppose I have procractinated enough --
"real life" awaits = I must get back to the
studio and finish the 4 paintings waiting for
me. Plus answer the 100 or so emails -- and of
course -- check out my sales on Oztion.

So until next time -- hope your "little corner of
the world" is even half as nice as mine.

Ta ta
For now,
Zoe

MY DAILY BLOG WEDNESDAY

And yet another day dawns. Well it isn't quite
dawn here yet - only 4.30am. Why oh why am I
awake. Only had 3 1/2 hours sleep yet I feel wide
awake. It probably will hit me later today &
then I shall have a "power nap".

Well I seem to have hit a brick wall at the
moment regarding what to paint next. I've heard
of writer's block, but I'm suffering from
painter's block. Heaps of black canvasses are
staring at me in the studio. I wonder in - sit
at my favourite chair, flick through some art
mags, home decor mags, still nothing. Spent
quite sometime yesterday driving around looking
at the ocean - still nothing. I then drove a few
kilometers into the lush countryside - still
nothing. So will today be the day when
inspiration strikes. I hope so.

The online Auction site Oztion.com.au where I
sell my artwork & other bits & bobs are currently
running a competition. The competition is for
those who run an online Store to run a 7 days
sale - then some lucky ducks will win a bottle of
champagne. Seeing how I can't drink the stuff -
(makes me seriously ill LOL), I'm not that fussed
about winning. BUT I am running a
sale.

So until 2nd July - 10% off all auctions with a
buy it now price - sounds confusing I know, but
trust me if you copy & paste this link into your
browser, it will all make sense.

Well I truely hope everyone has a fantastic, safe
& happy day.

Stay blessed.
Cheers from Australia

My Daily Blog LOL

Well time to get this day started. It is now
6.00am Tuesday here on the Mornington Peninsula,
in Victoria, Australia.

All is quiet & it is still dark outside. Even
the local Kookaburra's haven't woken up yet- way
too cold for that.

So I've been sitting here contemplating "Twitter"
it's pros & cons. Are there any pros? I mean
beside knowing everyone's business LOL. And what
are the cons? Everyone knows your business LOL.

Seriously though - I do believe I could become
either seriously addicted or just plain fed up
with "Twittering" once the novelty has worn off,
but we will see. I'm not really into knowing
everyone's business - I mean some of the things
people say on there is "far out" - but it's fun
at the moment.

On a lighter Non Twittering note - the first
thing I read this morning was written by Joyce
Meyer - gotta love that power woman of God -
anyway this is the part that hit me:

"Keep Balanced - It's easy to get overcommitted,
burned out, bummed out, worn out & stressed out.
If you are happy doing what you do -keep doing
it. But if it wears you out & robs you of your
peace, don't do it. Anxiety is usually a sign
that God never told you to do what you are doing
in the first place. To avoid frustration in yur
life, keep balance".....

Wow how prophetic is that - so I need to
keep "Twitter" in balance.

Any hoo - better get some breakfast, take the
dogs for their morning run on the beach & then
get back in the studio - I have 4 paintings on
the go at the moment - what was Joyce saying
about balance LOL.

So from the sunny but cool studio of ArtByZoe to
you - I hope you have a fantastic, safe &
profitable day.

Cheers
Zoe

ArtByZoe now on Twitter & Facebook

Well I decided it's about time a dragged myself
into this century & all the new technology. I
kept hearing about "Twittering" "Facebooking" and
could not figure it all out. Being one who hates
to be left out LOL, I decided to check it out.
OMG no one told me how addictive these things
are. I now feel like my notebook is permanently
attached to my body. And I swear I "Twittered"
in my sleep last night.

Well I suppose I better go and get a "Twitter"
fix before heading into the studio. I must get
some paintings finished & uploaded for sale this
week. Been a little slack lately.

I hope you all have a very happy, productive &
blessed week.

Cheers

Looks like winter is here

Hi all my dear friends and fellow art lovers. Well
it looks like winter is finally upon us. I love
this time of year as I don't feel guilty about
loving to be inside painting.
Last month just flew past, well so far the whole
year has flown by. I remember my mother saying
things like that (oh gosh - I never thought I'd be
ever saying things like that) - but my reason is a
great reason though - it's because life is so much
fun.
I finally finished the painting of the sun rising
over Mt. Dandenong last week. I've been wanting to
finish this project for probably 6 months now.
So now it's onto the next - uummm now what will it
be?????
Stay tuned.
Have a wonderful June everbody.
And remember please email me if you would like a
one of a kind original painting created just for
you. - artbyzoe@optusnet.com.au

It never ceases to amaze me how time flies by.
Already it's March and soon Easter will be upon

Christmas over when we where inundated with Easter
Eggs and Hot Cross Buns.
Anyway I just wanted to stop by and thank all of
my wonderful supporters and collectors of my
paintings. Without you I couldn't afford to do
what I love doing so a heartfelt THANK YOU. Don't
forget if you join up to receive my Ebay Store
Newsletter you will be elligible for special
promotional offers and discounts. Just go to the
Links button and click on My Ebay Link - that will
take you directly to my Ebay Store.
With much love and best wishes, Zoe
