ARTBYZOE DAILY BLOG THURS 25TH JUNE 09

The next time I’m having a “not so good” day – I must remind myself to re read this blog. I’m truely blessed to be living where I am. And I never, ever want to take it for granted. Only 3 mins drive away from this - What A Wonderful World - Sun, Sea, Peace, Tranquility, 2 dogs & a notebook – bliss. The lyics of the ever so famous song keep running through my mind, as I sit here on the foreshore, near the jetty at Rosebud beach. I love the beach in winter, especially on a sunny day. Not many people around – just a few mother’s with their small children – workers taking a “quick lunch break” and me & my two lovely dogs, and of course my "permanent appendage - The Notebook". My little corner of the world is truely wonderful. “I see skies of blue, and clouds of white” “I see friends shaking hands, saying “how do you do” – they’re really saying I Love You”. I wish I had thought to put my camera in my bag to show you this awsesome, peaceful setting – but alas I forgot. So I will try to describe it in words: The sun‘s rays are ever so warm & soothing to my aching bones. The sea is gently lapping on the shore and the seagulls are making that awful sound they do, but nevertheless it is a sound millions of people associate with the beach. There’s a small child playing catch with his mother – oh what a cute site – woops he just fell over – aaah there’s nothing like a mother’s arms to sooth a crying child.. The ocean is a vivid aqua blue colour today – very little waves. And the sky is a light blue with wisps of white clouds. There’s the distant sound of a small aeroplane – probably filled with sight-seerers taking advantage of this glorious day. Well I suppose I have procractinated enough – “real life” awaits = I must get back to the studio and finish the 4 paintings waiting for me. Plus answer the 100 or so emails – and of course – check out my sales on Oztion. So until next time – hope your “little corner of the world” is even half as nice as mine. Ta ta For now, Zoe

I'm there
You sound very much like me. I love the seaside, wouldn't live anywhere that's not near a beach. I am in beautiful Hervey Bay Queensland. Your art work is so original and lovely colours. Have a beautiful peaceful day. Becky.
